We are a first generation, women owned and operated farm growing microgreens, edible flowers, herbs and lettuce varieties year-round. We are vested in growing nutritious greens using innovative techniques and technology while educating consumers about locally grown, sustainable food. Whenever possible we use environmentally friendly packaging that includes recyclable or compostable containers.
Our Mission
Our mission is to grow fresh, healthy food in a manner that is environmentally friendly. We want people to enjoy their food! We strive to maintain a life balance, full of friends, fun and humor.
Farmers
The farm is run by Karin Tammi and Marty Chintala, two marine scientists who have parlayed their skills from cultivating marine organisms to growing tasty greens. Karin is also the author of the cookbook, Scallops, a New England Coastal Cookbook, with her mother, Elaine.
Bailey, the farm dog, always enjoys a day off at the beach in Little Compton, Rhode Island (with Sakonnet Point Lighthouse in the distance).
